  • I am a:Caregiver
  • Chair Pro's:Comfortable for the sitter.
  • Chair Con's:Hard work for the pusher.
  • Best Used:Indoors
  • Recommend It:I wouldn't recommend this wheelchair

Good enough to pack in the boot of a car and use around a shopping-mall.Try it on normal streets, which are anything but smooth and you have problems. The slightest raise on "wheelchair-friendly" kerbs are a struggle for the front wheels(more suited to a supermarket trolley, and just as controllable)requiring one to make a swift 180 degrees turn to avoid oncoming traffic. As for getting on and off buses....nightmare.This requires the helper to tilt the chair back, prop the front wheels on the bus platform, and lift the chair and rider onto the bus. Then hold tight, because the brakes are not good enough to stop the chair sliding every time the bus makes a turn. This chair is hard work!
