Great for comfort but horrible to drive. Went through 2 chairs in the last several months as it is all over the place to drive. Hard to manuver in tight places. First one had bad brushes in motors and were replaced only to still have problems. Replacement chair sent ran fine for 2 weeks than started flashing warning 179 on controller meaning motors are not in sync. Also ran choppy after. This was the standard motor package and not the high speed motor package which is reported to be even worse.
This was a very dissapointing chair as it was built very solid and quite comfortable but terrible as in in the dangerous side to drive. (Examples like going up van ramps and ANY obstacles as it would pitch to one side or the other)
To Prides credit they took the 2nd chair back without question even though the dealer ordered me a different model from a different M.F.G. (Invacare TDX SR) However; the fact they took it back without question tells me they are aware of a serious problem with the drive ability of this model and for the price these things should fly!
