  • I am a:Long Term Wheelchair User
  • Chair Pro's:turns well in tight spaces and it's great to be able to rise up six inches to reach things.
  • Chair Con's:a bit large, would have liked to have a smaller seat.
  • Best Used:Indoors and Outdoors
  • Recommend It:I would recommend this wheelchair

as a small person i found the seat a bit wide but it is comfortable and i can sit crosslegged in it! the chair itself is a dream, lovely to be able to spin round in tight places and, olnce i'd got used to the mid wheel drive aspect i found it easy to drive. initially i bumped into everything but when it was pointed out to me that it steered from the back not the front i found it so easy to drive, i find driving backwards really easy too. most wheelchairs steer from the front so you have to get used to the rear steering on this but when you do it's a piece of cake. my only problem is getting a seat replacement, i can't deal with Pride as i'm not an official dealer, so i have to deal with some unscrupulous dealers who try to fob me off with cheaper versions of a Pride seat. knowing what i want means that i'm not going to be happy to pay ?300 for a cheap seat but unless i can order direct from the US i may have to. anyway, i love my Jazzy 1103 chair.
