- I am a:Long Term Wheelchair User
- Chair Pro's:Very easy to Manouvre, and turns on itself. Very comfortable for long periods of time. Copes well with different terrains, including gravel. Charges fast.
- Chair Con's:Very heavy for carer to move on freewheel setting, and impossible to lift, unless four strong men available. Won't climb a standard height kerb. Doesn't have the normal type of handles so standard wheelchair bags will not fit.
- Best Used:Indoors and Outdoors

Have had my Quantum 6000 XL for 4 months. It is by far the best powerchair I have ever had through the NHS. Mine has the added power operated "Tilt in Space", which gives even more comfort, when spending long periods of time in it. The padding abd contouring of the seat can be adjusted easily to suit your preference.
I give my wheelchairs a pretty hard "hammering" as it goes on caravanning trips with us, so has to go across ploughed fields and rough ground which it does very well.
It also copes well with the steep gradients of the hills where I live, and holds its grip with the surface, even in very wet weather.
There is wide variety of accessories available, at extra cost, eg lighting and indicators.
Would certainly recommend this wheelchair for good all round usage, both indoors and outdoors.
